WCAG 1.4.1
Level A
Perceivable
1.4.1 Use of Color
Colour is not the only means of conveying information, indicating an action, or distinguishing an element.
What 1.4.1 Use of Color means
Colour-blind users can still tell a required field, an error, or a link from its surroundings.
How to test
View the page in greyscale; confirm links, errors and states remain distinguishable.
How to meet it
Add icons, underlines, text labels or patterns in addition to colour (e.g. underline links, add an error icon + text).
